Which platforms
let you fix anything?

Five levers, one row per platform. A "No" means the vendor serves that part of the site for every customer at once, so no plan and no plugin gives it back. We have tested 5 of 21 by hand. The rest are recognised, not tested, and we say so instead of guessing.

How to read it. Words: titles, headings, body copy, alt text. Pages: add pages and posts, control the URL slug. Head: inject code into <head>: JSON-LD, meta, verification tags. Root: robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap, redirects, status codes, logs. Domain: point DNS, decide what lives at the apex. Hover a cell for the detail. "?" means we have not run the seven verification tests on that platform yet. If yours is a "?", tell us on the call and we test it before we quote anything.

Control Score 5. The platform is open. The risk is the CDN in front of it: a managed robots.txt or AI-crawler blocking at the edge can undo every lever without changing a single one.

GoDaddy Website Builder · verified 2026-09-04

Control Score 3 of 5 plus a partial L4, L3 untested. Ships no JSON-LD of its own. AI crawlers are not blocked.

Squarespace · verified 2026-09-04

Control Score 3 of 5 confirmed, L3 untested. robots.txt proven vendor-controlled. The long AI-bot list in that file is NOT a block: those agents share the permissive '*' group.

Wix · verified 2026-09-04

Control Score 4 of 5. Wix ships an auto-generated llms.txt that also advertises a per-site MCP endpoint. AI crawlers are not blocked.

SimplePractice · verified 2026-09-04

Control Score 2 of 5. One page, no sitemap, no llms.txt. robots.txt and the entire <head> proven vendor-controlled across unrelated customers. AI crawlers are NOT blocked.
