Done for you
Setup
The free check's 29 checks, put in place for you instead of described to you. You hand us a login. We come back with a higher score and a note of what changed.
The call takes fifteen minutes. A plan follows in writing, then an invoice by email.
What we do
Each item is one of the checks on the free check. Same signals, same weights, so the score you saw is the score we improve.
robots.txt
Rewritten so the AI answer crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and the rest) are let in, and nothing you meant to keep private is opened up.
Hosting and CDN settings
The settings on Cloudflare, Vercel and shared hosts that block AI crawlers with no error and no notice to you, turned off for the crawlers that build answers.
Sitemap and llms.txt
A sitemap that exists, is current, and is declared where crawlers look for it. An llms.txt that says in plain text who you are and which pages count. The llms.txt is unproven: no engine has said it reads one. We add it because it costs nothing, and we do not count it toward your score.
Identity as data
JSON-LD for your business type, name, address, phone and service area, so an engine does not have to guess who you are from the paragraph on your About page. This is hygiene rather than a lever: two independent studies found structured data does not by itself make AI cite you more. The parts of Setup that do the heavy lifting are the crawler access, the sitemap, and the speed.
noindex and canonical sanity
A stray noindex tag or a canonical that points at the wrong address removes a page from every engine at once. We find those and fix them.
Before and after
The same check, run before we start and after we finish, so the change is a number you can see rather than a claim you have to take on trust.
What you get
Your score before and after. A one-page note of exactly what changed and where, so whoever touches the site next knows what is there and why. And proof that ChatGPT's and Claude's crawlers now get a normal page from your site, a 200, rather than a refusal.
What we need
A login
A login to your website or your hosting, or the name of whoever has it. Most of the work happens in the hosting dashboard, not the page editor.
Which platform
It could be WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, SimplePractice, or a developer's custom build. Tell us on the call and we will tell you what that platform allows before you pay anything.
How logins are handled: you create an account for us rather than sharing your own. It is kept in a password manager, used only for this work, and removed when the work is done. It is never written into a document, an email, or a chat. Buyer Mining LLC carries professional liability and cyber insurance for work on client sites.
What we cannot change
Some site platforms do not allow some of these changes, because the platform owns the files and there is no setting to reach them. We check that first. Before anything is charged you get a plan in writing that says what can be done and what cannot, and what each one is worth on the score. You pay only for what can be done.
Then, the Snapshot
Setup makes you readable. It does not tell you whether AI names you when your buyers ask who to hire. The Snapshot answers that, for $750: about 25 real buyer questions, who is named, who is not, and why.
Common questions
Can't I do this myself with the free check?
Yes. Every fix is on the result page as text you can paste, and plenty of people do exactly that. Setup is for people who would rather not: no time, no web person, or a hosting dashboard they have never opened. We do the same fixes, on your site, and show you the before and after.
What if my site is on SimplePractice, Wix, or Squarespace?
We check that first. Some platforms own the files, so some of the 29 checks cannot be changed there at all. Before anything is charged you get a plan that says which checks we can fix, which the platform blocks, and what that means for your score. You pay only for the ones we can do.
Does this get me recommended by AI?
No. Setup makes your site readable to AI answer engines. Readable is necessary, not sufficient. Whether AI names you when your buyers ask is a different question, and the Snapshot is the thing that answers it.
I have more than one website. Does the price cover all of them?
No. Every price on this site is for one website at one domain. That includes its www and non-www forms and any old domains that only redirect to it. A second brand site, a second country site, or a separate site on a subdomain, like a shop or a blog built on its own platform, is a second domain and is priced separately. If you have several, tell us on the call. We quote the set in writing, and the per-site price comes down as the count goes up.
